Music Opportunities:

Tacoma Youth Symphony Association Summer Camps - Training for youth classical and jazz musicians through festivals & workshops! When: July and August 2023, depending on the camp.

Music Sessions with Totem Star - Book a FREE session to work with & learn from an artist mentor! When: REMOTE & IN-PERSON SESSIONS: OPEN: Mon, 3/27/23 to Fri, 6/16/23 (will update when Summer programs become available).

Classes with Vera Project - Classes in screen printing, concert lighting, live mixing, and more! When: June - August 2023, depending on the class.

SCHOOL OF ROCK SEATTLE MUSIC CAMPS - Learn the fundamentals of Rock & Roll with other youth artists! Spots filling fast! When: NOW - Beginning of September, depending on the class.

Perform at YMP’s Teen Open Mic Night! - An all-youth supportive environment to show off your music or listen to other Teen Artists! When: Every first Friday, upcoming: Aug 4, Sept 1.

Visual Arts Opportunities:

Visual Arts Summer Camps with Gage - Safe, supportive environments to grow skills in drawing, painting, & other mediums! Full and partial scholarships are available! When: June 25 - August 26, Find A Class!

Pratt Fine Arts Center classes + open studios - A variety of beginner to advanced visual arts classes including jewelry making and glass casting with excellent mentors! When: Now through September, depending on the class.

Museum Opportunities:

Volunteer at MoPOP - Get involved in the MoPOP community and get free admission, get plugged in to future exhibit previews, and future MoPOP news! When: All year.

Volunteer at the Museum of Flight - Give tours of the museum exhibits and spend some time around these historic vehicles! When: All year, required volunteer orientation.

Writing Opportunities:

Classes with Hugo House -A variety of writing classes are available with Hugo House's expert teaching artists. From comic books, nonfiction, poetry, and more! WHEN: July 10 - August 21

Y-WE WRITE Summer Camp! with Y-WE Write - A writing space for young women and gender-expansive youth! WHEN: July 31 - August 6, 2023

Pitch Your 10-Minute Story To The Story Collider - Tell your story at a future event! When: No application deadline.

Dance Opportunities:

Spectrum Dance Theater Classes with Spectrum Dance Theater - Day-long & multi-week dance classes offered in a variety of styles! Beginner friendly! When: June-July, depending on the class!

Theater Opportunities:

Summer at ACT with ACT Theatre- Experiential theatre training intensives for young actors & stage managers! FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE! When: August 14-20th, depending on the camp. (scroll to the bottom).

Summer Camps with Taproot Theatre - Camps in a variety of theatre topics from improv, and musical theatre, to playwriting & more! For grades K-12 When: June - August, depending on the camp!

Youth Classes at Village Theatre - Find summer theatre classes for all grades exploring a variety of plays & musicals! When: June-August, depending on the class!

Musical Theater Summer Camps with Broadway Bound - Work on audition technique, script analysis, and a more to develop your acting craft! When: June - August, depending on camp!

Internship Opportunities:

SPS Career Quest Internships - Earn High School credit through internship experiences!

Develop Your Voice and Speak - A PAID internship where BIPOC girls and gender-expansive youth publish a zine! When: September 20--November 29, apply by August 18.
