The creatives, the makers, and the movers of tomorrow are already here. What role do you want to play in the arts? Join the Henry Teen Art Collective to find out what’s possible for you! The Henry Teen Art Collective is a group of young thinkers, planners, makers, and leaders who build community around contemporary art and ideas. We’re looking at you, members! Race and Social Justice Initiative (RSJI) Young Adult Council

The voice, perspectives, and leadership of youth and young adults are often missing from the very table that belongs to them, thus contributing to programs and solutions that are marginally effective at best. This year, the RSJI team is excited to be working with four amazing young adult leaders to develop and launch the RSJI Young Adult Council. The City is looking for 'empowered voices ages 16-24 from diverse backgrounds [to come] together to discuss issues and develop solutions to social problems affecting our communities. ComedySportz High School League

Are you a high school student that loves comedy? Join the ComedySportz High School League! Meet new, funny people. Learn to be spontaneous. Strengthen your acting and speaking skills. Improve your confidence. And most importantly, laugh and have a lot of fun! Then, Saturday afternoons, January through March, you'll have a chance to showcase your comedy skills in your own ComedySportz matches performed at the Atlas Theater! Invite your family and friends as you compete against other teams, playing a variety of ComedySportz games for live audiences. Guaranteed fun for everyone!

Literary Career Day
Deadline to Register: before Oct 7
Literary Career Day takes place on October 7, 2017 at the Seattle Public Library. This free event provides young people ages 16-24 with direct access to industry professionals through networking, experiential learning, engaging conversations, and performances. Participants are exposed to a wide range of career opportunities including writing, editing, publishing, arts administration, retail, library sciences, journalism, teaching, and more! 2018 Sound Off! Submissions

Seattle's most beloved all-ages Battle of the Bands at MoPOP returns in 2018--and YOU could be a part of it! Showcase original music on a large platform, launch your music career, and connect with peers, industry leaders, and other members of the artistic community when you apply! Musicians 21 and under playing all genres of music are encouraged to submit original material for consideration. Learn more here and apply!
