Queer Teens: Want to Make Some Theatre This Summer?

Queer Teen Ensemble Theatre provides a safe creative outlet for queer and allied youths to explore their voice and identity through a collaborative theater process. Since 2007,QTET has created four world premiere summer productions generated and performed by queer teens from all over the greater Seattle area. Beyond our summer intensive, QTET tours year round to dozens of schools, community centers and events leading workshops and intensives. QTET began as a resident program of Washington Ensemble Theatre, is an associated program of Shunpike and a proud member of the Intiman Collective. The 2012 QTET production is being produced by Washington Ensemble Theatre through a generous grant from the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs.
