IN THE SPIRIT CONTEMPORARY NATIVE ARTS 2024 19TH ANNUAL EXHIBITION

IN THE SPIRIT is an annual summertime celebration of Native arts & culture, including a juried exhibition at the Washington State History Museum, an Artist Awards event, and a free community arts market and festival.
The Exhibition – July 20 through September 29
Attend the art exhibition in person at the Washington State History Museum from July 20, 2024, until September 29, 2024. The exhibition features contemporary Native art with a variety of themes and mediums, including textiles, paintings, carvings, beadwork, mixed media, basketry, and digital works. Each piece is accompanied by an artist statement providing context and a deeper explanation of the artwork and themes. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artwork in the exhibition. The People’s Choice Awards will be announced at the festival.
